UGME Research And Data Requests
In keeping with our commitment to promoting educational scholarship and innovation, Undergraduate Medical Education at The Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry is committed to advancing medical educational research and supporting our faculty, staff, and students who engage in these pursuits
To initiate the review and approval process, the researcher or team member must complete and submit the following online Request for Research Participation Form. This form must be completed by any student, resident, faculty member, clinician, research assistant, research associate, or external researcher who seeks to conduct research using UME learners, staff, faculty, or other resources.
A committee of Medical Education faculty and staff will review each submitted research request. The committee will communicate with the researcher when more information is necessary and to share the committee’s decision. For the simplest requests by internal staff/faculty, an expedited review will allow for speedy approval decisions.
